You See The Guy Next To You In The Fox Hole? Kill Him
So im guessing im a bit slow on carrying on with my beaten down story. well sorry, with sugar on top and chocolate sprinkles around and 2 cherries with its 3mm stems protruding vertically upwards.
anyway, the show must go on....
Day Two
so since my second day was a sunday, i realised that popular tourist spots would be as crowded as hell. so i decided to venture towards south-west england, to the town(or at least i think its a town) Dover. there is this castle there..... yea. after reading up on it in my handy-dandy tourbook, i found out the where i found out the when i found out the how *big military sneer on smug face*.
when i was at the correct train station, had to ask questions like they were blades of grass, numbering in the thousands. so when i finally got on to the train, i spent the 3 hours of waiting doing only 5 things a]reading the train time table, and learning how train stations operate, b]listening to my MP3 (i love you iron maiden), c]burning a hole in the window pane with my unwavering stone cold gaze at the english countryside, d]reading the novel i brought along with me, and e]flashing my ticket to the queer conductor.
when i finally reached the station, i had to go take a piss but the gents was locked, so i went around the town but couldnt find another one so came back to the train station. tried the gents door again when suddenly this middle aged dude came out of the conner and asked me what i was doing. being a good citizen and all, i attempted to cripple his left ear using the traditional kazitzu style. he dodged and then unlocked the door saying its for train passengers only and that he was giving me this one chance. i walked into the toilet. thats when i had this ultra-mega-hyper-super-blast of deja vu. im so freakishly sure it happened before that its going to haunt me forever. almost as much as when i saw the movie "the sum of all fears", i can swear that i've seen it years before its release.
anyway, we took this bus to Dover castle and i think i can rank it as number 2 best castle i've been to. there wasnt much there, just some set-ups and displays, no actors or shows. but the place had barely anybody there, it was X-tremely peaceful. the winds were strong though, since the castle was on the coast of the english channel, so i was freezing my ass out there with my 1 t-shirt and 1 jacket. you could see all of this but it was most unfortunate that i just so happened to forget to bring my camera for this trip, sigh.
we didnt spend much time there since theres this bizarre length of operating hours, meaning it opens at 10am and closes at 5pm. i would have wished to go to the white cliffs of Dover but alas, there wasnt enough time to do so and still catch the last train out of there. so we made our way to the place where the bus dropped us off, waited for like 15 minutes past the supposed pick up time so we got kindda worried that we'd never get to the station in time. thats when we hitched a ride with the next random car that drove by
so everything went smoothly from then on until we got to Russell square area, my mom got into a fit and ran to the local 24hour provision shop a.k.a. mama shop. bought cup noodles there and kept yelling at yours truly about how she didnt eat dinner at (*insert ridiculous eating time*). went around the area and found this sleazy italian-cafe-like joint with plenty of gangsters and whores. so i chose to eat my dinner there (it was this huge omelet with cheese and ham inside) and my mom was mocking pain and shit. she was trying to pretend that she doesnt have the strength to lift a french fry due to her lack of food for the past 3 hours. even a man who has not eaten for a week can lift a God damn chicken up. what a lying sack of shit.
went back to the hotel, watched some poker show cause it seems to be the only thing on every channel. thats about it, not very eventful im afraid. tune in next time for the bone-shattering, mind-numbing, ball-squeezing continuation to "DAY TWO", .... "DAY THREE"!!!!
